| Description |
| |
London Bridge Hotel is an independently-owned, 4 star London hotel which opened in Autumn '98, in an ideal location on the edge of the City of London.
The hotel site has a heritage which dates back to Roman Britain when the area was already at the centre of links with Europe - both in commerce and communications.
Significant archaeological findings unearthed during redevelopment are now with the Museum of London.
The site was most recently a former telephone exchange and its 1915 façade has been restored as a local landmark for the community.
The hotel has 138 air conditioned bedrooms with a range of facilities which make this an attractive choice for business as well as leisure guests.
All the rooms have satellite TV, voicemail, high speed internet access, mini-bar, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, trouser press, safe (large enough to take a laptop computer), modem and fax port.
There are six rooms for the disabled, two non-smoking floors, an executive floor, deluxe rooms and executive kings and three suites.
The hotel is situated opposite the main entrance to London Bridge railway station.
Dining options at the London Bridge Hotel comprise Londinium Restaurant, Georgetown Restaurant and Borough Bar & Dining. Borough Bar and Dining is a spacious, contemporary bar offering a wide choice of drinks and excellent food in a relaxing atmosphere. Open 7 days a week.
London Bridge Hotel is perfectly situated for the business and the leisure guest alike, the business district City of London starting right at the other end of London Bridge and all of central London being easily accessible. Borough Market, London’s oldest food market, which is worth a visit, is only a stone’s throw from this London hotel. Borough Market is busy, noisy and bursting with wonderful produce.
Opening times Borough Market: Thursdays: 11am - 5pm, Fridays: 12pm - 6pm, Saturdays: 9am - 4pm.
